Ghoongru - A girl performing Indian classical dance , Bharat Natyam.

I have taken 9 years of professional training in indian classical dance and this painting represent part of me as a dancer and a painter. In this oil painting I have tried to capture the essence of Indian classical dance through the traditional silk saree with vibrant colours, red paints the dancers apply on feet and on their hands and ghoongru without hich dance costume and music is incomplete.
